Perhaps the most popular unit on Crescent Beach, with over 95% occupancy for three years running! Book early and book fast to get the BEST view and location on the beach, literally a stone's throw from the waves at high tide! As 1 of only 2 end units in the complex closest to the beach, totally remodeled and completed in 2016—this is a premiere luxury condo you’ll want to rush to get!

Top three reasons this condo has some of the best occupancy rates on all of Crescent Beach:

1. BEST VIEWS:

That’s a bold claim, how can we make it? Well, no condo or home on Crescent Beach is closer to the ocean than this unit! We are an upstairs end unit in the complex closest to the beach, so your views here are unobstructed by tall grassy dunes or long wooden boardwalks blocking the magnificent seascape out your window. Your beach views stretch for miles in both directions. Additionally, only the end units have an extra wall of windows in the living room and master bedroom, bringing those endless beach views right into your unit. It’s not just poetic prose when we say you could forget you’re on land when you sleep at night; come experience laying down on the soft king bed and seeing nothing but ocean waves out your window, feeling the cool breezes, inhaling the salty ocean scents, and hearing only the methodic music of rolling waves out your windows, literally making you feel as though you are on your own personal yacht out at sea. In the morning make sure to get up early because you won’t want to miss a sunrise in this condo and if you don’t want to go out, the sunrise will come to you from the best seat in the house—a chaise lounge surrounded by two walls of windows, or lay in bed and watch your room turn orange from the glow of sunrise. A must-do during your stay is to schedule plenty of time on the chaise watching pelicans dive into the ocean, turtles poke their heads out of the sand dunes, dolphins jump in the waves, and boats lazily sailing by! In fact, some of your best pictures of the beach will be taken from the comfort of this soft chaise lounge and nobody will know you weren’t standing on the sand!

2. CLOSEST TO THE BEACH:

Local restrictions mandated condos built after our complexes to build a certain distance away from the sand dunes. Thus, in other rentals what separates you from the very reason you’re renting here (the ocean), is a long boardwalk. Our “boardwalk” is five steps off the pool deck! If you’re coming for the beach, there is no better complex to stay in to put you footsteps away from your true destination. Additionally because our unit is on the end, we are the closest unit to the beach, hands down; in fact, you’re so close, that at high tide you could throw a rock out the window and hit waves!

3. BEAUTIFUL BEACHY CHIC COTTAGE RETREAT:

The design of this condo was summoned by the seascape and ocean hues out your window bringing indoors the calming color palette of the beach. Beautiful detail work and accessories throughout force this unit to stand out, but not steal the real show happening out your expansive windows. In addition you will find everything you need to enjoy the indoors including a big screen TV w/ high definition cable service & DVR (so you can record your favorite shows and still make the best show-- watching the moon rise out of the ocean), DVD player, TV in the master suite and second bedroom and free private WIFI. All the comforts of home will tempt you to stay indoors in this beautifully designed and comfortably decorated condo, but we know, the ocean call is too loud to ignore.

Recent renovations include:

-New tile flooring that looks like hardwood laid in herringbone pattern
-Completely remodeled kitchen with custom made cabinets, including custom paneled refrigerator, galley kitchen style so you have more room for prep, new appliances, stunning quartz countertops that mirrors the look of the sand outside, and high-end glass tile backsplash
-Main floor bathroom totally renovated with new vanity and gorgeous tile shower with glass tile accents
-Brand new contemporary master bedroom set with large drawers under king bed for storage
-Brand new sitting chair in master bedroom and big screen HDTV mounted on wall
-New comforters in master bedroom and second bedroom

Could you ask for a better three reasons to book this unit today? Perhaps you need an invitation….

We invite you to…

Bathe in breathtaking sunrises and sunsets from the comfort of your living room,
Travel only a few steps so you can walk for miles scavenging seashells on a pristine beach, and
Forget you’re on land as you’re lulled to sleep by waves crashing mere feet from your bedroom window.

We invite you to…

Imagine the days of Ponce de Leon as you discover the charming city of nearby St. Augustine,
Break away from tourist attractions and explore the way old Florida used to be, and
Taste the best the south has to offer from smoky barbeque to melt in your mouth gourmet and everything delicious in between.

We invite sun seekers, adventure cravers, and those who have a love affair with the ocean. Whether it be for escape or adventure, or a little of both, we invite you to stay in our beachy chic condo as a base for tranquility and exploration of Crescent Beach on Anastasia Island and the hundreds of attractions nearby.

WHY COQUINA COMPLEX IS UNBEATABLE:

LESS THAN A MINUTE FROM UNIT TO BEACH:

  • We are one of only two complexes on this beach that are RIGHT ON THE BEACH-- just seven steps off the pool deck at the center of our complex to sand.

  • We built before restrictions forced everyone else to build behind the sand dunes. Thus all other complexes besides our sister property have long stretches of dunes and hard wooden boardwalks over those dunes—our “boardwalk” is made of sand.

  • We're less than 60 seconds from your door to beach, making your trek with beach gear an easy and fast one!

BEST VIEWS:

  • Being steps from the beach also means we have the best views on the beach!

  • Our unbeatable proximity to sand and water, combined with the fact that our complex is shaped like a V so that nobody blocks anyone else’s view, means our views are unrivaled by other complexes!

  • Don’t be fooled by some people’s claims to “beachfront” or to have a great “ocean view”— our view is not a corner of the room—or hanging over a balcony to get a glimpse of water— every unit in the Coquina has panoramic views of the beach!

  • In addition bringing the sounds of the sea indoors is as easy as opening your windows or doors to hear the waves roll outside.

LESS CROWDS AT OUR COMPLEX:

  • Unlike some complexes that have hundreds of units- this complex has only 42 units, with about half of those units available to rent and the other half being people's private vacation homes that often sit vacant. As such, you won't see hundreds of guests from this complex taking up the beach space by the condo or crowding the pool and courts.

  • We also don't rent to groups of young adults (guests under 25 years of age), thus we often have a more quiet feel than other complexes.

  • Lastly, more often than not our rentals are by the week or month, we are not like a hotel that has a new group coming to party each night.

LESS CROWDS AT OUR BEACH:

  • Combined with the fact above that our complex is small with less guests using the beach, our beach often stays slow even in busy times (if you want to feel like you own the beach, ask me when the best time to come is) for a couple of other reasons….

  • Crescent Beach is not a commercial type of beach like St. Augustine beach we only have a couple of restaurants on the north end of the beach a mile away from us, thus we don’t get crowds coming to eat and then walk on our beach, likewise we do not have stores on our small stretch of beach—though there are plenty of stores just a couple miles north of us.

  • Additionally, we have no hotels on Crescent Beach— so we don’t get nightly guest crowds and partiers coming to our beach.

  • Lastly, to the north of our complex is a private vacation home (often sitting vacant), to the south of us is our sister complex similar in size to us, thus we aren’t surrounded by complexes with hundreds of guests that fan out onto our side of the beach.

  • Even in our high season our guests comment at how slow and peaceful everything is here.

POOL AREA: We are one of the only complexes on Crescent Beach that has our pool just steps from the sand! Why is this a big deal? When you lay out on our loungers at the pool deck, you feel like you’re out at the beach— the waves are rolling just over your shoulders, the pelicans are soaring overhead and you can fall asleep to the ocean’s melody. At other complexes you are surrounded by buildings and guests— here you’re surrounded by palm trees and ocean views. No need to get sandy on the beach, be a sun worshiper from the comfort of the pool deck but still feel like you’re out at the beach! In addition, a separate kiddie pool with one shallow depth makes for a great place for the little ones to swim without having to dive in after a child that goes too deep.

AMENITIES: Enjoy a game of tennis on our private tennis courts enclosed by thick lush foliage. Shoot some hoops at the basketball court. Enjoy grilling dinner on our electric grills located on the upper deck with ocean views on one side and Intracoastal waterway views on the other (grills, loungers, tables, umbrellas, and chairs are provided). Don’t miss a chance to take in the fiery colors over the Intracoastal as the sun sinks into the water at sunset, then look over your shoulder to simultaneously watch the beach turn to a palette of pastel pinks and blues— there is no better seat on all of Crescent Beach to enjoy the sunset than on the upper deck of the Coquina with panoramic water views on each side of you!

ABOUT CRESCENT BEACH AND SURROUNDING AREA:

This condo is nestled on one of the best kept secrets in the world-- Crescent Beach found on Anastasia Island, located just 15-20 minutes from the quaint historic city of St. Augustine. Crescent Beach has been named one of the most “scenic and unspoiled beaches in Florida.” With soft white sand to play in, shells of all sizes that come in from the waves to find, and a shallow flat coastline to play in the waves, whether you build castles, beach comb, or play in the waves— the beach will keep you busy for hours.

If you decide to leave the beach you can do so to discover over 500 restaurants, more per capita of residents than anywhere else on the east coast, you literally could not try all of St. Augustine’s restaurants in a year’s time, but we welcome you to try. Whether you come to enjoy one of the many golf courses nearby (including TPC Sawgrass), want to try your hand at fishing on piers, from the beach, or from a boat, have an interest in the area’s many museums or love the historic area’s architecture and brick pedestrian-only streets, or prefer the shopping and foodie scene, St. Augustine is a gem that more than one guest has asked us not to share with anyone else!

If you don’t want to venture to the downtown area, the island we are situated on (Anastasia Island, which is considered part of St. Augustine proper), has enough restaurants, grocery stores, surf shops, and activities (such as Marineland where you can swim with dolphins, the Alligator Zoo where you can zip line over alligator enclosures, the famous St. Augustine lighthouse, or a multitude of recreational activities like kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, boating, etc.) to keep you busy. However, we find, more often than not, it is the lonely beckon call of the beach out your door that has you rebooking. Described by the locals as “the way old Florida used to be,” Crescent Beach still remains slow, quiet, and peaceful like Florida beaches once were. With soft white sand to dig your feet in, shells scattered along the water’s edge to find, sea grass waving in the ocean breeze, turtles lazily digging in the dunes, pelicans surfing the skies, and dolphins playing along the shoreline’s waves, it is this quintessential beach life that fills our souls with longing and brings us back time and time again!

In terms of specific activities (other than everything the beach in your backyard provides), there is something for every single age and interest within 5-25 minutes away from the condo including:

HISTORY: Tons of history and spectacular architecture! We are just 15-20 minutes away from the oldest city in the nation where you will find museums, replicas of old St. Augustine where people are dressed in character and give you a guide through American history, or closer to home you can visit Fort Matanzas by boat just 5 minutes from the condo and hear the old cannons go off.

RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES: There are recreational activities in almost every single genre: fishing (from a platoon boat on the Intracoastal, by deep sea fishing boat on the Atlantic, or try fishing off the bridges and piers or from the shore in your backyard), boating, parasailing, kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, renting mopeds or scoot coupes, etc.

GOLFING: There are at least five golf courses nearby ranging from the community golf course to the world famous TPC Sawgrass at the World Golf Village.

ANIMAL LOVER ACTIVITIES: There are unique activities for animal lovers: training and swimming with dolphins just five minutes from the condo at Marineland, ziplining over hundreds of alligators ten minutes away at the Alligator Farm, or visiting a privately held wild animal zoo where you can see lions hug their trainers and tigers take bubble baths just 20 minutes away. Just out your door you will find lizards darting in your path, turtles burrowing in the dunes out your window, dolphins jumping in the shoreline, cranes and pelicans fishing for breakfast, along with plenty of animal life that washes ashore including: jellyfish, starfish, coral, crabs, we've even seen small sharks washed ashore after a big storm (I've never seen sharks swimming in the waves in the 18 years I've been here).

SHOPPING GALORE: You can spend a lot of time and even more money at two huge outlet malls just across the road from one another 20 minutes away or spend your money on local wares and gifts for people at home on the pedestrian only brick street of St. George street downtown 15-20 minutes away. Near the condo within 5-10 minutes you have plenty of shopping at surf shops, seashell shacks, and grocery shopping at stores like Walgreens, Publix, Wynn Dixie, Family Dollar, etc.

TOURISTY STORES: Downtown historic area has all of your traditional tourist activities including a multitude of fun ways to tour the city (think chocolate and dining tours, or tours by trolley and horse carriage). The lighthouse is an easy climb and a great way to get a panoramic view of the city and to learn about lighthouses.

AMENITIES:Enjoy a game of tennis on our private tennis courts enclosed by thick lush foliage.

HISTORY:Tons of history and spectacular architecture!

RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES:There are recreational activities in almost every single genre: fishing (from a platoon boat on the Intracoastal, by deep sea fishing boat on the Atlantic, or try fishing off the bridges and piers or from the shore in your backyard), boating, parasailing, kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, renting mopeds or scoot coupes, etc.

GOLFING:There are at least five golf courses nearby ranging from the community golf course to the world famous TPC Sawgrass at the World Golf Village.

ANIMAL LOVER ACTIVITIES:There are unique activities for animal lovers: training and swimming with dolphins just five minutes from the condo at Marineland, ziplining over hundreds of alligators ten minutes away at the Alligator Farm, or visiting a privately held wild animal zoo where you can see lions hug their trainers and tigers take bubble baths just 20 minutes away.

SHOPPING GALORE:You can spend a lot of time and even more money at two huge outlet malls just across the road from one another 20 minutes away or spend your money on local wares and gifts for people at home on the pedestrian only brick street of St. George street downtown 15-20 minutes away. Near the condo within 5-10 minutes you have plenty of shopping at surf shops, seashell shacks, and grocery shopping at stores like Walgreens, Publix, Wynn Dixie, Family Dollar, etc.

TOURISTY STORES:Downtown historic area has all of your traditional tourist activities including a multitude of fun ways to tour the city (think chocolate and dining tours, or tours by trolley and horse carriage). The lighthouse is an easy climb and a great way to get a panoramic view of the city and to learn about lighthouses.

If you’ve been searching for a designer's destination with breathtaking beach vistas and a haven where stress takes a vacation so you can relax and take in the tranquility of a quiet pristine beach, then you’ve found what you’re looking for.

From the moment you walk into this condo you will enjoy a pallet of textures and colors of the coast; from driftwood inspired cabinetry and dining, to touches of turquoise in dishes and decor, to travertine patterned after the sugary sands outside. You get the sense that while inside, the artistry of the beach has followed you indoors. Newly redesigned and decorated June 2017, this unit has all the gooodies and extras to make your stay as memorable being indoors as it is outdoors at the beach.

Granite counter tops and a well stocked kitchen (including a coffee percolator and VitaMix) is ready to assist you with the greatest of culinary ambitions or a quick bite to eat. After an incredible dinner grab a bottle of wine from the wine regrigerator provided for you and take it to the community deck at the center of the complex, pull up a chair or a lounger, and enjoy the sun setting into the water of the Intracoastal on one side, as the beach turns a pallette of pastels on the other side. We provide the charis and sunsets, you provide the drinks and conversations to remember.

A lovely dining room provides the perfect setting for the fresh catch of the day; no reservations necessary to claim incredible seaside dining views with floor to ceiling sliding glass doors facing the ocean. Play some soft musice on the wireless Bluetooth speakers provided to you as you dine. Or use the dining room table as the game hub and enjoy fierce competition with provided board games.

A comfortable living room with new soft leather sectional will provide a place to watch the pelicans soar over the waves, watch a show on the large HDTV, and a place where you can laugh and talk late into the night as a gentle breeze from the ocean wafts in. In the morning start your day off right by using the included yoga mat and foam roller to exercise and meditate.

Enjoy your own private patio complete with high adirondack chairs so that nothing mars the view of the waves, perhaps you’ll even catch a glimpse of the dolphins that jump beyond the shoreline, and the turtles that poke their heads in and out of the dunes just beyond the grounds.

Upstairs get away from it all and enjoy a moment of quiet solitude in one of two bedrooms. In the master sink into the expansive king size bed with comfortable mattress and memory foam topper and enjoy breathtaking views of the beach. For a truly magical experience leave the shutters open and crack a window to enjoy the ocean by moonlight as you drift off to sleep to the music of the waves lapping at the shore.

In the second bedroom there are two full beds to accommodate four (all beds have soft memory foam toppers to create heavenly nights of sleep). Have plenty of space to put things away with a big closet. Enjoy third floor access to an outdoor walkway with wonderful views of the Intracoastal Waterway.

A full size bathroom with combination shower/tub is situated between the master bedroom and second bedroom, with a second bathroom with large walk-in shower on the main floor off the entry to wash off the day’s sand.

We are located in the complex closest to the beach and in one of only two complexes that do not have a long boardwalk that separate you from the sand and sea, but rather a few steps off the pool deck to sand. With provided beach chairs, umbrella, towels, toys, and beach games, it's easy to create amazing memories at the beach.

You will also enjoy a slower, more quiet feel in this complex and beach due to being a smaller complex with less than fifty units and only half those units being available to rent. We are located on a stretch of beach with soft white sugary sands and a shallow coastline making playing in the waves easy and safe.

We are 15 minutes from the downtown historic area and have plenty of shopping and restaurants within 5-10 minutes of you. Within 30 minutes there are more restaurants per capita than anywhere else on the east coast, over 500 places to try…you just may need to book a few more nights to try them all!

From recreational activities to exploring history, shopping till you drop or enjoying a round of golf, to scavenging for sea shells or simply relaxing and recharging…it’s all waiting for your arrival!

One Minute to the Sea and Just Fifteen Minutes from Downtown St. Augustine:Why the CoquinaCondo Complex is Unbeatable:

  • Our unbeatable proximity to sand and water, combined with the fact that our complex is shaped like a Uso that nobody blocks anyone else’s view, means our views are unrivaled by other complexes!

  • Don’t be fooled by some people’s claims to “beachfront” or to have a great “ocean view”— our view is not a corner of the room—or hanging over a balcony to get a glimpse of water— every unit in the Coquinahas panoramic views of the beach!

  • In addition bringing the sounds of the sea indoors is as easy as opening your windows or doors to hear the waves roll outside.

LESS CROWDS AT OUR COMPLEX:

  • Unlike some complexes that have hundreds of units- this complex has only 43units, with about half of those units available to rent and the other half being people's private vacation homes that often sit vacant.

Did you know St. Augustine has more restaurants per capita than anywhere else on the east coast?

From fried fish to gourmet perection, you're going to need more money in the wallet to spend on all of these incredible restaurants. That's why we're taking $100 off any stay after July 22nd! Just mention the "swanky dinner special" and we'll credit that $100 back!

Let’s Talk About All the Extras….
This unit provides things most rentals don’t even come close to providing! Extras include: beach chairs, a cooler to take lunch out on the beach, Netflix, board games and cards, three flat screen TVs (one in every room), jacuzzi bathtub, wireless printer/ scanner in case you need to print boarding passes, highest internet speed, and brand new washer and dryer!!!!

Ocean Front Views To Write Home About….
This unit is one of the biggest in the complex with over 1,200 square feet of panoramic beach or Intracoastal waterway views. The living room has a wall of sliding glass doors that walk out onto a private patio where you can soak in the balmy breeze, listen to the methodic sounds of the rolling tides, and stare out at the seagulls, sand, and sea (this view can also be enjoyed from the kitchen and dining room)! The upstairs bedroom is a wall of windows, not only letting in a generous amount of light, but also capturing the stunning view of the beach! The second bedroom has a big window and a door that bring in panoramic views of the Intracoastal Waterway and allows you access to a landing where you can enjoy the sunset over the Intracoastal!

Additionally, this is one of the only units in the complex that you can walk out your front door to an enormous deck with tables and chairs (this is a community deck). It almost feels like your unit’s own deck, and it is a perfect place to enjoy drinks while watching the sunset, or use the brand new TREX grilling deck (with Weber grills) to grill up dinner and then take it to the deck to enjoy dinner and the spectacular show the sunset provides!

An Upscale Modern Renovation From Floor Boards to Light Fixtures and Everything in Between…
What makes a unit tempting to stay inside even though the ocean is in your backyard? One that has an open easy floor plan, combined with big windows that flood the room with that coveted coastal sunshine, beachy chic decor, and modern sleek renovations!

From the moment you enter and see the wide-plank maple wood flooring, hardwood custom kitchen cabinets, granite counter tops, contemporary lighting fixtures, and new stainless steel appliances, you’ll know you chose a place that didn’t spare the expense on remodeling!

Walking through the unit you will find new Pottery Barn beds, a comfortable white leather sofa, new bedding, and fun coastal contemporary decor. Pops of color like the contemporary blue in the rug, dining room pendant light, and bar stools offset the warm yellow hues in the flooring and cabinets to give the unit the feel that a designer has been there!

The bathrooms speak high-end with tiled walk-in showers, granite counter tops, and even a jacuzzi tub to do more relaxing in after a day of relaxing on the beach!! There’s no such thing as too much relaxation and this unit is happy to provide you a chic upscale feel that is still casual enough to welcome elbows on the table and feet on the coffee table in true home comfort fashion.

With a trifecta of hard to find extras, breathtaking beach views, and an upscale renovation, you’ll wonder why you’ve rented anywhere else!

Did you know that National Geographic named St. Augustine as one of the top 10 tourist destinations for 2013? Come discover why on a beautiful island-location on the coast between St. Augustine and Marineland!

Experience island living with the ocean out your window and the Matanzas River on the other side (great views from the top deck). With St. Augustine 15 minutes north across the bay and Marineland 3 miles south across the Matanzas Inlet, and hundreds of activities for everybody within 30 minutes, we don't need to give you the top 10 reasons why this is your perfect destination, we only need to give you 3 to be fully convinced that choosing this highly coveted island condo is the easiest and best choice you can make:

(1) Views, views, views!!! You have all the ease and advantages of being on the ground floor, with all the advantages of having phenomenal beach views!!!! We are one of the only units on Crescent Beach that can brag about having breathtaking beach views and the convenience of being ground floor, because we are the closest complex to the beach. While other complexes are separated from the beach by a large expanse of tall dunes and long boardwalks, our complex sits seven steps from the beach off the pool deck. This close proximity to the beach, means that even though you are ground floor, you're so close to the ocean that you still have amazing views. In addition, we are the second unit from the end (our complex is shaped like a u), so you're even closer to the beach! If you don't want to mess with hauling heavy bags up and down the stairs, or you have a family member that can't do stairs, but you don't want to miss out on the real reason you came here (to soak up the beach), this unit is perfect for you!

2. Convenience, convenience, convenience!!!! Being only 10 steps from the pool (pool is gated, so if you have small children, they can't get into the pool area without you), and then 7 steps off the pool deck to the sand, means you are a stone's throw from the beach. No walking down the stairs and around the complex to get to the beach or pool, just walk out your back door and be on the sand or lounging in the sun in seconds. Plus, don't fight with heavy luggage with a long flight of stairs to your door, or fight with any stairs inside the complex: no stairs in the complex and only one step up to the front door. This is easy one level living. Another huge factor that makes this unit incredibly convenient is having a washer and dryer in the unit! Don't haul your laundry to the laundromat and wait for machines, just throw it in the washer and dryer conveniently located right inside your unit. When at the beach, it seems there is laundry to do every day, having it in your unit will make your life a hundred times easier. Having a washer and dryer in the unit is a rare amenity and perk for these units. Lastly, enjoy the convenience of having a master bathroom in your bedroom. Only in downstairs units in this complex will you find that master bedrooms have their own private bathroom. Don't share with your friends or family, enjoy your own space. Another convenience factor is the safety grab bars in shower and tub...very handy for children and older people for entering and exiting that bath. Lastly, just outside our door is temporary parking for unloading your bags and groceries, etc. Our entrance door is about 15 feet from the unloading zone in the parking lot.

3. Design, design, design. Not only will you enjoy the breathtaking views out your window, and the convenience of one level living, but you will do it all in a space that has been recently remodeled and beautifully designed. Comfortable beachy furnishings, great walls of artwork, and well chosen decor throughout will make you feel comfortable and fall in love with this unit. Large granite countertops give you plenty of room to prepare food. Stainless steel appliances and beautifully cabinetry give the fully equipped kitchen a high-end modern feel. Big screen HDTV in the living room and comfortable sofa might compete with the amazing views out your window. PLUS-- enjoy new HDTV in the master bedroom and let the kids watch their own shows on the smart TV in the second bedroom. Private patio, table, and four chairs (can easily sit six at table with patio chairs) will call your name at every meal...Why eat inside, when you can enjoy dinner and the ocean breeze at the same time? Bathrooms have been completely remodeled with modern vanities, beautiful tile work, and impressive shell-like tile accents. Other perks this unit has: Comcast triple play, remote telephones, and use of reclining beach chairs and beach towels. From top to bottom, this unit has beautiful design and great furnishings!

WHY CRESCENT SANDPIPER COMPLEX IS UNBEATABLE:

  • Our unbeatable proximity to sand and water, combined with the fact that our complex is shaped like a Uso that nobody blocks anyone else’s view, means our views are unrivaled by other complexes!

  • Don’t be fooled by some people’s claims to “beachfront” or to have a great “ocean view”— our view is not a corner of the room—or hanging over a balcony to get a glimpse of water— every unit in the Sandpiper has panoramic views of the beach!

  • In addition bringing the sounds of the sea indoors is as easy as opening your windows or doors to hear the waves roll outside.

LESS CROWDS AT OUR COMPLEX:

  • Unlike some complexes that have hundreds of units- this complex has only 51units, with about half of those units available to rent and the other half being people's private vacation homes that often sit vacant.

Enjoy unobstructed spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean in a unit that can easily claim “one of the best views on Crescent Beach!” How can we make that claim? Easy. Unlike other “beach-front properties” in St. Augustine, this condo is located just a couple of steps from the beach without high dunes or a long boardwalk to cross over—you simply can’t be closer to the beach than in the Coquina Condo where we are located. Additionally, our complex is shaped like a V, and we are fourth from the end (the “end” is the beach). Thus we are one of the closest units to the beach. Lastly, there are only about 1/3 of the units in this complex who have a limited neighboring wall that impacts your view—we are one of those units which means MORE of that breathtaking beach view you come for!!!

Enjoy this almost unparalleled south-facing view from the entire main floor of your condo with a wall of sliding glass doors that spans the full length of the balcony to provide magnificent views of the beach and pool! Enjoy the swaying palm trees, lush grounds, red Hibiscus, sparkling blue pool water, and the beach a stone’s throw from it all from your private balcony where you can unwind with a drink or enjoy dinner by ocean moonlight. Enjoy this same incredible view even higher up from a wall of windows in the master bedroom. Simply stated— it’s the beach you come for, and it’s the beach you’ll see from every floor of this unit!

With a recent remodel finished in 2016, this unit can not only brag about the outside, we want to brag about the inside as well! Gorgeous kitchen remodel with new white cabinets, sparkling white quartz countertops, gleaming stainless steel appliances, and a fun pop of beachy blue in the glass backsplash gives the entire main floor a new modern feel. The kitchen is nicely appointed with everything you need to make those mouthwatering meals.

New leather sofa and love seat with electric recliner gives you the perfect spot to take in the view or enjoy a show after dinner. Tile floors on the main make it easy to clean up after a day at the beach. Fun beachy decor throughout is a constant reminder that the beach is your backyard here!

Upstairs you will find large master bedroom with brand new king mattress on par with Tempur-Pedic purchased in the best of category by Consumer Reports. An entire wall of windows brings the beach outside into your bedroom. Full length dressing mirror, two closets, and armoire finish the master off to give you everything you need for a comfortable stay. Second bedroom upstairs is complete with two full beds, a window with views out to the Intracoastal Waterway, a dresser and large closet. Situated conveniently between the two bedrooms to share is a full bathroom with combination tub/shower.

With the new remodel and the fabulous views from almost every room, you will never want to stay anywhere else once you stay in this condo and vacation on the white sands of Crescent Beach. This is truly beachfront property at its best!

LAYOUT DETAILS:
This unit is a townhouse style unit located on the second and third floor of the Coquina (note— there are no other units on top of this one and only one unit below it). Main floor is complete with a full bathroom with walk-in shower (to wash away the sand from a day at the beach), kitchen, dining room, living room, and private balcony. Upstairs you will find two large bedrooms with a full bathroom situated between the two bedrooms.

Once you stay, rest, and play on the white sandy beach of Crescent Beach (few minutes south of St. Augustine Beach) in this newly renovated townhome with breathtaking views, you will never want to vacation anywhere else. This property is very popular for four reasons:

PROXIMITY TO THE BEACH

Unlike the other 'beach-front properties' on St. Augustine Beach or Crescent Beach, this oceanfront condo has no long boardwalk over the sand dunes to get to the warm sandy beach. Simply step onto the beach from the pool deck, ditch your shoes, and have fun on a secluded beach away from the crowds. This is truly beachfront, the likes of which you won’t find in other complexes on St. Augustine Beach or Crescent Beach!

2. COMPLETELY REMODELED UNIT: COMPLETED 2014!

This unit boasts high-end design throughout including crown moulding and Wainscot paneling. As you look through the photos and read the details about this condo, you will see a comfortable tropical setting decorated with high quality Rattan and cottage style furniture that invites you to relax and unwind and soak up the beach out your window- giving you the comfort you deserve.

3. ONE OF THE BEST VIEWS ON ALL OF CRESCENT BEACH:

You’re already closer to the beach than any other complex. In addition, this complex is shaped like a V so nobody is in front of you blocking out your view. Lastly, only 1/4 of the units in this complex have a setup that has very little of their neighbor’s wall jutting out into part of their view— and we are one of them! We literally get contact by our guests telling us they were surprised by how amazing the view was—-the pictures just don’t do it justice!

4. EXTRAS! EXTRAS! EXTRAS!
Three LED widescreen smart TV’s (one in every room) plus Blu-Ray players and sound bar in the living room. Plus this unit is equipped with a dependable dedicated WI-FI—a must if you need to work or are on the internet a lot. Also great for streaming movies to the TV’s, etc. The complex also has shared WI-FI for the pool area but it is not very reliable for inside the condos—so this is a major perk!

Read below for the setup of this condo:

Living Room
The living room is furnished with quality Rattan style furniture with tropical wall art to provide a true beach atmosphere. The sliding glass door spans the full length of the balcony to provide magnificent views of the beach and pool! In addition, the living room is furnished with a queen size foldout sofa, an LED widescreen smart TV, Blu-Ray player and sound bar plus.

Kitchen
Completely remodeled with new granite countertops and new fixtures, this kitchen is not only fully stocked and equipped with microwave, dishwasher, and garbage disposal, but beautiful as well. In addition, the kitchen is right off the living room so as you cook you can gaze out over breathtaking ocean views.

Guest Bathroom
Soft ocean colors design this bathroom with easy walk-in shower (bathroom located right next to the front door) to wash off the beach’s sand after a sun-filled day.

On the second floor, you will find...

Master Bedroom
Master Bedroom is designed with soft beach colors with crown molding and boasts a wall of windows with beautiful ocean and pool views. This room has plenty of storage in closets and dressers, as well as new quality cottage style furniture with king size bed, large LED TV, and smart Blu-Ray player with dedicated WI-FI, perfect for steaming and internet access. Everything you need designed with everything you’ll want!

Second Bedroom
This fun, beach-themed room has two quality full size beds. New bedding and cottage style furniture were purchased at Haverty's plus new LED smart TV and Blueray player.

Upstairs Bathroom
This full bathroom has been remodeled with granite counter tops and modern fixtures.

Enjoy the tranquil slow beach life of Crescent Beach in this condo that looks like it was transported from the high end homes of Key West! From the faux-wood tile flooring up to the new modern light fixtures, and almost every nook and cranny in between, this unit was just finished (Jan 2016) with a complete upscale remodel that will bring you back for years to come!

Walk up only four steps to your front door on this ground floor unit that gives you fast and easy access to the soft white sand and methodical ocean waves in your backyard. The first thing you notice when you open your front door is a gorgeous kitchen complete with extra wide quartz countertops that mimic the design of the sand glittering outside from the morning's tide, subway tile backsplash, and brand new stainless steel appliances that finish things off with sleek urban design.

The living room and dining room area boast bright white wainscoting giving the unit a classy, cottage look. Tailored looking furniture with dark wood accents look not only high-end but are comfortable to relax on while enjoying the swaying palms, red hibiscus, and beach out your floor to ceiling wall of sliding glass doors.

Off the main living area (main living area includes the kitchen, dining, living room, and private patio), you will find bedrooms adjacent to one another with a full bathroom in between. These ground floor units are popular with groups that are coming with more than one couple since the master bedroom has ensuite bathroom, and the second bathroom (also a full bathroom) is situated next to the second bedroom (that has two full beds). This setup allows not only visitors to have a bathroom without going into bedrooms, but also gives that second bedroom a bathroom close enough to use that it could almost be ensuite as well. Both bathrooms have been beautifully finished with custom tile work, granite counter tops that compliment the new white vanities they sit on, and sleek modern faucets and fixtures.

Master Bedroom is striking with a wall of windows with brand new white plantation shutters (plantation shutters can be found throughout the entire unit)—the shutters create a high end cottage look while also making it easy to look out at the beach and close for privacy. Brand new beach cottage furniture (including brand new HDTV) combines with charming southern design to create a perfect space for relaxing in after a long day at the beach or exploring America’s oldest city!

The second bedroom takes on a Tommy Bahama look with designer bedding, new furnishings, and two full beds. With a big closet and a new HDTV, this room has the feeling of being another master bedroom.

With new furnishings throughout, 3 new HDTV’s, and impeccable design and decor that focuses on coastal life brought indoors, this unit will be hard to leave behind at the end of your stay, but the good news is, you can always come back.

“The waves of the sea, help me get back to me”

From the moment you open the doors to this condo the beach will call to you. Step inside, take your shoes off and enjoy this oceanside cottage retreat. Grab a super-plush blanket and melt into any one of five recliners in the living room (four are even electric). Open the blinds along with the gigantic sliding glass doors and let the ocean revive your soul. In the mornings step out on the balcony with a coffee, sit and take in the pelicans as they fly overhead all the while hearing the waves crashing in the background. In the evenings be sure to enjoy the spectacular sunsets either in the second bedroom or on the deck of the building and don’t forget your camera. At bedtime, the mattresses will envelope you, provide plenty of rest and allow you to do it all over again the next day.

Though the beach inclination is to spend every moment soaking in the sun and the sea outside, being indoors will be even more relaxing in the comfortable and quaint coastal design this condo offers highlighting picturesque beach views brought indoors from a wall of sliding glass doors on the main floor, a wall of windows in the master, and even a wall of sliding glass doors in the second bedroom with breathtaking views of the Intracoastal Waterway.

Decorated with an oceanside cottage retreat this unit is known for it's comfortable furnishings and beds (we've even had guests call to ask the brand of the mattress so they could go home and buy the same one). The extras like 3 HDTVs (a TV in every room), a Wii system in the second bedroom, and high speed private wifi provide plenty of entertainment indoors when the sun slumbers from it's long day of work at the beach.

You really won’t want to leave, but we promise to always be here, sitting sea-side, awaiting your return.

WHY CRESCENT SANDPIPER COMPLEX IS UNBEATABLE:

LESS THAN A MINUTE FROM UNIT TO BEACH:

We are one of only two complexes on this beach that are RIGHT ON THE BEACH-- just seven steps off the pool deck at the center of our complex to sand.
We built before restrictions forced everyone else to build behind the sand dunes. Thus all other complexes besides our sister property have long stretches of dunes and hard wooden boardwalks over those dunes—our “boardwalk” is made of sand.
We're less than 60 seconds from your door to beach, making your trek with beach gear an easy and fast one!

BEST VIEWS:

Being steps from the beach also means we have the best views on the beach!
Our unbeatable proximity to sand and water, combined with the fact that our complex is shaped like a U so that nobody blocks anyone else’s view, means our views are unrivaled by other complexes!
Don’t be fooled by some people’s claims to “beachfront” or to have a great “ocean view”— our view is not a corner of the room—or hanging over a balcony to get a glimpse of water— every unit in the Sandpiper has panoramic views of the beach!
In addition bringing the sounds of the sea indoors is as easy as opening your windows or doors to hear the waves roll outside.

LESS CROWDS AT OUR COMPLEX:

Unlike some complexes that have hundreds of units- this complex has only 51 units, with about half of those units available to rent and the other half being people's private vacation homes that often sit vacant. As such, you won't see hundreds of guests from this complex taking up the beach space by the condo or crowding the pool and courts.
We also don't rent to groups of young adults (guests under 25 years of age), thus we often have a more quiet feel than other complexes.
Lastly, more often than not our rentals are by the week or month, we are not like a hotel that has a new group coming to party each night.

LESS CROWDS AT OUR BEACH:

Combined with the fact above that our complex is small with less guests using the beach, our beach often stays slow even in busy times (if you want to feel like you own the beach, ask me when the best time to come is) for a couple of other reasons….
Crescent Beach is not a commercial type of beach like St. Augustine beach we only have a couple of restaurants on the north end of the beach a mile away from us, thus we don’t get crowds coming to eat and then walk on our beach, likewise we do not have stores on our small stretch of beach—though there are plenty of stores just a couple miles north of us.
Additionally, we have no hotels on Crescent Beach— so we don’t get nightly guest crowds and partiers coming to our beach.
Lastly, to the north of our complex is a private vacation home (often sitting vacant), to the south of us is our sister complex similar in size to us, thus we aren’t surrounded by complexes with hundreds of guests that fan out onto our side of the beach.
Even in our high season our guests comment at how slow and peaceful everything is here.

POOL AREA: We are one of the only complexes on Crescent Beach that has our pool just steps from the sand! Why is this a big deal?

This unit just had a main floor furniture remodel that was finished up in June 2017! Stay in one of the newews looking condos on the beach AND save HUGE on July 8-15th! We have taken off over $450 for this week! Prices have already been reduced so you can book now!

Aren’t you tired of searching for the perfect place for your Crescent Beach vacation?

With hundreds of condos to choose from in this area, there are 4 SIMPLE REASONS that make this condo one of the easiest choices in planning your vacation:

1. EVERYONE CLAIMS “REMODEL”— BUT CAN THEY SAY THEY REMODELED IN 2017? WE CAN!!!!!
This unit had a living room complete remodel with all new decor and furnishings that will remind you of a quintessential beach cottage. You will love relaxing in the coastal chic front room with unobstructed views onto Crescent Beach (what locals describe as one of the few “old Florida” beaches left in the state with uncrowded beaches and soft white sand). Beautifully furnished throughout, and very well appointed, this 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit is the perfect place for your next fun-filled family getaway, or quiet beach retreat.

2. UNBEATABLE (REALLY- WE CAN'T BE BEAT) CONDO LOCATION: MERE STEPS FROM THE SAND IN A SMALL QUIET COMPLEX
This unit is situated in the high-demand high-end Coquina complex. You can’t get closer to the beach than in the Coquina. Built right off the beach— you are five steps from the pool deck (pool deck is at the center of the complex) till your toes can curl around the sand and break for the waves. In all other complexes (besides our sister property) you have long hard wooden boardwalks that separate you and your views from the beach.

You will also find that our complex is slow (we have 42 units only which about half are available to rent and the other half often sit vacant). This means it is not unusual to enjoy a dip in the pool alone, or to have the tennis courts, grilling deck, or backyard beach to yourself. The other high-rise complexes on this beach can’t make this claim!

With beautifully manicured gardens, well maintained common areas, and friendly on-site manager and maintenance people, once you discover Coquina, you will never be satisfied staying anywhere else again (or so claims the hundreds of guests that have been coming for 30+ years).

3. PERFECT LAYOUT FOR RELAXING AND ENJOYING THE PELICANS SOARING OVER THE WAVES OUT YOUR WINDOW!
The two floor layout is extremely functional, providing plenty of room for an ideal vacation relaxing indoors, as well as a base camp for outdoor exploration and sight seeing. The first floor boasts a bathroom with large walk-in shower off the entry (so you can easily shower off the sand from a long day at the beach). The kitchen is spacious and functional with stainless steel appliances, well stocked cupboards, and views of the beach making it easy to prepare tasty and memorable culinary creations as you watch the colors change into dusk on the beach. The beautiful tile floors extend through the entire first floor, and are a lovely counterpoint to the relaxed and easy-going decor. The dining and living room are perfectly situated for entertaining and enjoying a show on the new flatscreen HDTV while you enjoy dinner, or face towards the ocean instead to watch the never-ending show the beach and nature provides. Better yet, enjoy your dinner or a drink out on the private balcony as you listen to the gulls cry, the waves roll, and feel the ocean breezes assuring you that life is good.

Upstairs you have two bedrooms and a full bathroom in between rooms, making for comfortable living spaces. The master bedroom boasts a king bed, flat screen television, and breathtaking views of the Atlantic ocean from a wall of windows! The second bedroom features two full-size beds, a new smart TV (available to hook up a DVD player, bring a gaming system, or stream from, but not hooked up to cable service), and beautiful coastal decor that will set just the right tone for your guests or children. This room also features views of the Intracoastal waterway where you can enjoy the brilliant sunsets.

4. IT’S AS EASY TO BOOK AS LAYING OUT ON THE BEACH WITH HELPFUL ATTENTIVE MANAGER!
The manager of this unit calls this complex her home as well, as she has been coming for over 17 years and now manages a handful of units at the Coquina and Crescent Sandpiper. As such, she loves helping her guests plan their perfect vacation to the award winning (named by Coastal Living as well as National Geographic) St. Augustine area. Don’t mess with big companies who have never set foot inside your unit, deal with someone who can easily answer your questions about the unit, complex, and area and is available night and day to help you with all aspects of your vacation. It takes 5-10 minutes to book. Before check-in the manager emails you all the information you need for check-in, plus ideas of things to do in the area. This unit is equipped with an electronic lock, so no need to stop at management offices, align your hours with theirs, or try to fumble around for a key at an off-site location in the dark— just punch in your access code to the lock on the unit and start your vacation! Easy to book, helpful planning guides, and attention to your needs, booking and staying here couldn’t be easier!

Staying in this beach chic comfortable unit just seconds from the beach in the best complex on Crescent Beach has never been easier. Please visit my website or contact me for help planning your stay, questions, or to book this unit.

EMAIL US FOR UNIQUE VACATION IDEAS LIKE OUR CUSTOM ST. AUGUSTINE SCOOTER SCAVENGER HUNT, ZIPLINING OVER GATORS, PAINTING WITH DOLPHINS, OR CREATING YOUR OWN BIKING BEACH PICNIC UNDER THE MATANZAS BRIDGE!

Come to this fabulous condo and replenish yourself on island itinerary: Relax… Eat… Explore…then rest from a hard day at the beach. Tomorrow, repeat. In this cozy unhurried space of the world, think less crowds and more peace and quiet. Think warmer weather, striking sunsets, and strolling down miles of abandoned beach. You won’t be in any rush to go home from this island paradise, rather, you’ll long to come back to this peaceful retreat for more reasons than one, but here are a few...

1. The beach’s sand and the pool’s cool waters are, 16 seconds from your back door:
Easy access out your back door makes for mere steps away from the pool deck and beach. This unit is conveniently located just steps from one of the only complexes on this beach that have their pool deck right off the beach! Other complexes’ pools are in the middle or at the front of the complex with no views of the beach. In our complex, if you don’t want to mess with the sand and changing tides, lay out on the pool deck and feel like you’re on the beach since you’re only steps away!

In addition, we are the CLOSEST COMPLEX TO THE BEACH! Restrictions prevented other complexes from building as close to the sand dunes as we are, so we are one of only two complexes on this beach that don’t have a long boardwalk to the beach...again, just steps off the pool deck till your feet hit sand!

2. This is a High Demand Ground Floor Unit:

(A)- No stairs to battle with. Pull up five steps from your front door and unload your luggage, this unit won’t have you battling with stairs to unpack your bags and groceries.
(B)- Fast access to the beach and pool. In upstairs units to reach the pool or beach you walk down stairs and around the complex, in this unit, you open your back door and make a mad dash for the water! Perfect unit for kids, as there is green grass out your back door to play on, and kids can easily run from the pool back to the unit to get a drink, go to the bathroom, etc. with you watching them from the pool deck. Note: there is a fence surrounding the pool so young kids cannot just walk out the back door and wander into the pool area.
(C)- Master bathroom in the Master Bedroom (hard to find). We have found so many travelers are coming with friends, extended family, or children, and couples want to have their own bathroom-- not share one. Enjoy your private master bathroom in the master bedroom, and let other guests enjoy a shared bathroom next to the second bedroom.

3. Peaceful Island Homes with Great Design are Hard to Find:
This fabulous unit touts tranquil tropical decor with classic island flavor. Red Hibiscus and green palms frame your windows with the pool and beach waters beyond that, creating a peaceful, lush beach view. Layout is spacious and functional. Kitchen is fully equipped to create gourmet coastal cuisine. Living room is comfortable with big TV, or face a wall of glass to watch the sea. Private patio right out the back door with chairs to sit and relax. Master bedroom is comfortable and beautiful with large windows surrounded by tropical plants. Large king bed is comfortable and will tempt you to stay in bed all day. Master bedroom also has large closet, glider chair and ottoman, TV, plenty of storage space, and bathroom. Second bedroom has two full beds and is next to a full bathroom. This unit is also equipped with FREE secure high-speed cable wifi dedicated to this unit. Note- this unit does not have a land-line.

4. You won’t have to Angle for Space at the Beach in Front of our complex:
The locals say Crescent Beach is the way old Florida used to be-- unpretentious and uncrowded and it’s even better at the Coquina Condo Complex. In the fifteen years I’ve been coming here, I’ve never had a time where I wasn’t on the beach by myself at some point. Part of this is because the Coquina is near the middle of the beach, thus, you don’t have a lot of people coming from the public access ways. Secondly, on one side of the Coquina you have a small house, on the other side you have a small sister complex to the Coquina. In addition, the Coquina is a small complex with only half of the units available to rent, for all these reasons combined, the beach in front of the Coquina stays uncrowded for the most part.

5. Crescent Beach and St.Augustine are a Perfect Place to Please Everyone:
This stretch of beach offers a bit of everything, from shopping and nightlife, to adventure and golfing, to hundreds of restaurants with gourmet offerings from around the world, to opulent relaxation. For a list of things we’ve found in the area that we recommend to do, email me and I will send it to you.

So come unwind, embrace serenity, and invest in you in this wonderful seaside getaway at the Coquina on Crescent Beach! We’re ready when you are.

Enjoy dinner or an evening show in your living/dining room with a wall of glass bringing the seaside indoors!

We are located in Coquina complex, just steps off Crescent Beach’s soft white sugary sands, the closest complex to the beach (1 of only 2 that don’t have a long boardwalk). In addition this unit is one of only 1/4 in the complex that don’t have a long wall between you and neighboring units, this means views, views, views!

This seaside retreat is nestled between the Intracoastal waterway to the west and the Atlantic just out your door to the east (incredible views of both at the same time from Coquina’s upper deck). Just 15 minutes from downtown historic St. Augustine and 5-10 minutes from plenty of restaurants, shopping, and adventures!

Enjoy a show on the big screen TV at night or simply curl up on the overstuffed chair near a wall of glass doors to watch for dolphins in the waves and turtles in the dunes.

HISTORY:Tons of history and spectacular architecture!
