Aren’t you tired of searching for the perfect place for your Crescent Beach vacation?

With hundreds of condos to choose from in this area, there are 4 SIMPLE REASONS that make this condo one of the easiest choices in planning your vacation:

1. EVERYONE CLAIMS “REMODEL”— BUT CAN THEY SAY THEY REMODELED IN 2017? WE CAN!!!!!
This unit had a living room complete remodel with all new decor and furnishings that will remind you of a quintessential beach cottage. You will love relaxing in the coastal chic front room with unobstructed views onto Crescent Beach (what locals describe as one of the few “old Florida” beaches left in the state with uncrowded beaches and soft white sand). Beautifully furnished throughout, and very well appointed, this 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit is the perfect place for your next fun-filled family getaway, or quiet beach retreat.

2. UNBEATABLE (REALLY- WE CAN'T BE BEAT) CONDO LOCATION: MERE STEPS FROM THE SAND IN A SMALL QUIET COMPLEX
This unit is situated in the high-demand high-end Coquina complex. You can’t get closer to the beach than in the Coquina. Built right off the beach— you are five steps from the pool deck (pool deck is at the center of the complex) till your toes can curl around the sand and break for the waves. In all other complexes (besides our sister property) you have long hard wooden boardwalks that separate you and your views from the beach.

You will also find that our complex is slow (we have 42 units only which about half are available to rent and the other half often sit vacant). This means it is not unusual to enjoy a dip in the pool alone, or to have the tennis courts, grilling deck, or backyard beach to yourself. The other high-rise complexes on this beach can’t make this claim!

With beautifully manicured gardens, well maintained common areas, and friendly on-site manager and maintenance people, once you discover Coquina, you will never be satisfied staying anywhere else again (or so claims the hundreds of guests that have been coming for 30+ years).

3. PERFECT LAYOUT FOR RELAXING AND ENJOYING THE PELICANS SOARING OVER THE WAVES OUT YOUR WINDOW!
The two floor layout is extremely functional, providing plenty of room for an ideal vacation relaxing indoors, as well as a base camp for outdoor exploration and sight seeing. The first floor boasts a bathroom with large walk-in shower off the entry (so you can easily shower off the sand from a long day at the beach). The kitchen is spacious and functional with stainless steel appliances, well stocked cupboards, and views of the beach making it easy to prepare tasty and memorable culinary creations as you watch the colors change into dusk on the beach. The beautiful tile floors extend through the entire first floor, and are a lovely counterpoint to the relaxed and easy-going decor. The dining and living room are perfectly situated for entertaining and enjoying a show on the new flatscreen HDTV while you enjoy dinner, or face towards the ocean instead to watch the never-ending show the beach and nature provides. Better yet, enjoy your dinner or a drink out on the private balcony as you listen to the gulls cry, the waves roll, and feel the ocean breezes assuring you that life is good.

Upstairs you have two bedrooms and a full bathroom in between rooms, making for comfortable living spaces. The master bedroom boasts a king bed, flat screen television, and breathtaking views of the Atlantic ocean from a wall of windows! The second bedroom features two full-size beds, a new smart TV (available to hook up a DVD player, bring a gaming system, or stream from, but not hooked up to cable service), and beautiful coastal decor that will set just the right tone for your guests or children. This room also features views of the Intracoastal waterway where you can enjoy the brilliant sunsets.

4. IT’S AS EASY TO BOOK AS LAYING OUT ON THE BEACH WITH HELPFUL ATTENTIVE MANAGER!
The manager of this unit calls this complex her home as well, as she has been coming for over 17 years and now manages a handful of units at the Coquina and Crescent Sandpiper. As such, she loves helping her guests plan their perfect vacation to the award winning (named by Coastal Living as well as National Geographic) St. Augustine area. Don’t mess with big companies who have never set foot inside your unit, deal with someone who can easily answer your questions about the unit, complex, and area and is available night and day to help you with all aspects of your vacation. It takes 5-10 minutes to book. Before check-in the manager emails you all the information you need for check-in, plus ideas of things to do in the area. This unit is equipped with an electronic lock, so no need to stop at management offices, align your hours with theirs, or try to fumble around for a key at an off-site location in the dark— just punch in your access code to the lock on the unit and start your vacation! Easy to book, helpful planning guides, and attention to your needs, booking and staying here couldn’t be easier!

Staying in this beach chic comfortable unit just seconds from the beach in the best complex on Crescent Beach has never been easier. Please visit my website or contact me for help planning your stay, questions, or to book this unit.

WHY COQUINA COMPLEX IS UNBEATABLE:

LESS THAN A MINUTE FROM UNIT TO BEACH:

  • We are one of only two complexes on this beach that are RIGHT ON THE BEACH-- just seven steps off the pool deck at the center of our complex to sand.

  • We built before restrictions forced everyone else to build behind the sand dunes. Thus all other complexes besides our sister property have long stretches of dunes and hard wooden boardwalks over those dunes—our “boardwalk” is made of sand.

  • We're less than 60 seconds from your door to beach, making your trek with beach gear an easy and fast one!

BEST VIEWS:

  • Being steps from the beach also means we have the best views on the beach!

  • Our unbeatable proximity to sand and water, combined with the fact that our complex is shaped like a V so that nobody blocks anyone else’s view, means our views are unrivaled by other complexes!

  • Don’t be fooled by some people’s claims to “beachfront” or to have a great  “ocean view”— our view is not a corner of the room—or hanging over a balcony to get a glimpse of water— every unit in the Coquina has panoramic views of the beach!

  • In addition bringing the sounds of the sea indoors is as easy as opening your windows or doors to hear the waves roll outside.

LESS CROWDS AT OUR COMPLEX:

  • Unlike some complexes that have hundreds of units- this complex has only 42 units, with about half of those units available to rent and the other half being people's private vacation homes that often sit vacant.  As such, you won't see hundreds of guests from this complex taking up the beach space by the condo or crowding the pool and courts.

  • We also don't rent to groups of young adults (guests under 25 years of age), thus we often have a more quiet feel than other complexes.

  • Lastly, more often than not our rentals are by the week or month, we are not like a hotel that has a new group coming to party each night.

LESS CROWDS AT OUR BEACH:

  • Combined with the fact above that our complex is small with less guests using the beach, our beach often stays slow even in busy times (if you want to feel like you own the beach, ask me when the best time to come is) for a couple of other reasons….

  • Crescent Beach is not a commercial type of beach like St. Augustine beach we only have a couple of restaurants on the north end of the beach a mile away from us, thus we don’t get crowds coming to eat and then walk on our beach, likewise we do not have stores on our small stretch of beach—though there are plenty of stores just a couple miles north of us.

  • Additionally, we have no hotels on Crescent Beach— so we don’t get nightly guest crowds and partiers coming to our beach.

  • Lastly, to the north of our complex is a private vacation home (often sitting vacant), to the south of us is our sister complex similar in size to us, thus we aren’t surrounded by complexes with hundreds of guests that fan out onto our side of the beach.

  • Even in our high season our guests comment at how slow and peaceful everything is here.

POOL AREA: We are one of the only complexes on Crescent Beach that has our pool just steps from the sand!  Why is this a big deal?  When you lay out on our loungers at the pool deck, you feel like you’re out at the beach— the waves are rolling just over your shoulders, the pelicans are soaring overhead and you can fall asleep to the ocean’s melody.  At other complexes you are surrounded by buildings and guests— here you’re surrounded by palm trees and ocean views.  No need to get sandy on the beach, be a sun worshiper from the comfort of the pool deck but still feel like you’re out at the beach!  In addition, a separate kiddie pool with one shallow depth makes for a great place for the little ones to swim without having to dive in after a child that goes too deep.

AMENITIES: Enjoy a game of tennis on our private tennis courts enclosed by thick lush foliage.  Shoot some hoops at the basketball court.  Enjoy grilling dinner on our electric grills located on the upper deck with ocean views on one side and Intracoastal waterway views on the other (grills, loungers, tables, umbrellas, and chairs are provided).  Don’t miss a chance to take in the fiery colors over the Intracoastal as the sun sinks into the water at sunset, then look over your shoulder to simultaneously watch the beach turn to a palette of pastel pinks and blues— there is no better seat on all of Crescent Beach to enjoy the sunset than on the upper deck of the Coquina with panoramic water views on each side of you!

ABOUT CRESCENT BEACH AND SURROUNDING AREA:

This condo is nestled on one of the best kept secrets in the world-- Crescent Beach found on Anastasia Island, located just 15-20 minutes from the quaint historic city of St. Augustine. Crescent Beach has been named one of the most “scenic and unspoiled beaches in Florida.”  With soft white sand to play in, shells of all sizes that come in from the waves to find, and a shallow flat coastline to play in the waves, whether you build castles, beach comb, or play in the waves— the beach will keep you busy for hours.

If you decide to leave the beach you can do so to discover over 500 restaurants, more per capita of residents than anywhere else on the east coast, you literally could not try all of St. Augustine’s restaurants in a year’s time, but we welcome you to try.  Whether you come to enjoy one of the many golf courses nearby (including TPC Sawgrass), want to try your hand at fishing on piers, from the beach, or from a boat, have an interest in the area’s many museums or love the historic area’s architecture and brick pedestrian-only streets, or prefer the shopping and foodie scene, St. Augustine is a gem that more than one guest has asked us not to share with anyone else!

If you don’t want to venture to the downtown area, the island we are situated on (Anastasia Island, which is considered part of St. Augustine proper), has enough restaurants, grocery stores, surf shops, and activities (such as Marineland where you can swim with dolphins, the Alligator Zoo where you can zip line over alligator enclosures, the famous St. Augustine lighthouse, or a multitude of recreational activities like kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, boating, etc.) to keep you busy. However, we find, more often than not, it is the lonely beckon call of the beach out your door that has you rebooking. Described by the locals as “the way old Florida used to be,” Crescent Beach still remains slow, quiet, and peaceful like Florida beaches once were. With soft white sand to dig your feet in, shells scattered along the water’s edge to find, sea grass waving in the ocean breeze, turtles lazily digging in the dunes, pelicans surfing the skies, and dolphins playing along the shoreline’s waves, it is this quintessential beach life that fills our souls with longing and brings us back time and time again!

In terms of specific activities (other than everything the beach in your backyard provides), there is something for every single age and interest within 5-25 minutes away from the condo including:

HISTORY: Tons of history and spectacular architecture!  We are just 15-20 minutes away from the oldest city in the nation where you will find museums, replicas of old St. Augustine where people are dressed in character and give you a guide through American history, or closer to home you can visit Fort Matanzas by boat just 5 minutes from the condo and hear the old cannons go off.

RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES: There are recreational activities in almost every single genre: fishing (from a platoon boat on the Intracoastal, by deep sea fishing boat on the Atlantic, or try fishing off the bridges and piers or from the shore in your backyard), boating, parasailing, kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, renting mopeds or scoot coupes, etc.

GOLFING: There are at least five golf courses nearby ranging from the community golf course to the world famous TPC Sawgrass at the World Golf Village.

ANIMAL LOVER ACTIVITIES: There are unique activities for animal lovers: training and swimming with dolphins just five minutes from the condo at Marineland, ziplining over hundreds of alligators ten minutes away at the Alligator Farm, or visiting a privately held wild animal zoo where you can see lions hug their trainers and tigers take bubble baths just 20 minutes away.  Just out your door you will find lizards darting in your path, turtles burrowing in the dunes out your window, dolphins jumping in the shoreline, cranes and pelicans fishing for breakfast, along with plenty of animal life that washes ashore including: jellyfish, starfish, coral, crabs, we've even seen small sharks washed ashore after a big storm (I've never seen sharks swimming in the waves in the 18 years I've been here).

SHOPPING GALORE: You can spend a lot of time and even more money at two huge outlet malls just across the road from one another 20 minutes away or spend your money on local wares and gifts for people at home on the pedestrian only brick street of St. George street downtown 15-20 minutes away.  Near the condo within 5-10 minutes you have plenty of shopping at surf shops, seashell shacks, and grocery shopping at stores like Walgreens, Publix, Wynn Dixie, Family Dollar, etc.

TOURISTY STORES: Downtown historic area has all of your traditional tourist activities including a multitude of fun ways to tour the city (think chocolate and dining tours, or tours by trolley and horse carriage).  The lighthouse is an easy climb and a great way to get a panoramic view of the city and to learn about lighthouses.

MANAGER INFO:

My name is Marisa, and I am the manager that will work with you personally on your stay.  For almost two decades I have been coming to this complex as my own island retreat paradise and discovering new restaurants, taking new adventures, engaging in new experiences, and seeing the island through both tourists' and locals' eyes! I haven't come close to running out of things yet, and would love to help you plan your trip by giving you the local tips on where to eat and what to do to soak up everything this corner of the world has to offer. So come, accept our invitation, come to what will feel like home and make you never want to leave.

hope to return

Just spent a week here and loved it. The location is perfect. 20 minutes to St Augustine and 20 SECONDS to the beach! Literally step through the pool deck gate onto the sand. This beach was very clean, not crowded, and the sand was soft white sand. No problems being barefoot. The manager is top notch. She will answer any and all questions quickly and is a local so the info she gives about things to do and places to eat are invaluable. The condo was spotless. No musty or beachy smells and very clean. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need. Pool toys and beach chairs and umbrellas are there to use so literally just pack your clothes and toiletries. I was a little concerned about not having a washer/dryer in unit, but there is an onsite laundry right by the office. I ended up not needing it anyway. This was by far the best rental property I have stayed in. Don't miss the Wednesday Market at the pier. Locals with handmade items including clothing, jewelry, and food. (We bought some of each). Also fresh produce. Lastly let me say I felt safe here, at the condo as well as in and around St.Augustine. Hope to be able to return soon.

Awesome

The location is awesome. You can almost touch the ocean from the balcony. And, you can lie in bed and watch the waves roll right up to the pool. The owner gives such nice personalized attention to her renters. The condo is well decorated with just a smidge of beach decor. Not like past places I've stayed where the decor is cheesy beach and wicker or owner hand-me-downs. St. Augustine is just 20 minutes away, but not close enough for the beach to be packed. We had a wonderful stay!

Absolute perfection!

This home is beautiful, the grounds are impeccable, and for a family with small kids it could not have been more convenient! Bring your swimsuits, beach towels, and smiles, because everything you need is taken care of. There were nice Tommy Bahama beach chairs, a boogie board, umbrella, and sand toys at the home. The kitchen had all of the essentials, plus dishes to bake and store leftovers. The beach here is quiet and clean...perfect for boogie boarding, kite flying, shelling, or just relaxing with a glass of wine while you watch the dolphins cruise up and down the shore. On a more personal note, we accidentally left behind our daughters beloved blankie. I contacted Marisa, the property manager, and within minutes they had located the blanket and were shipping it to us. You are dealing with real people, who care about your vacation, when you book this home. We loved every minute of our stay here and are already making plans to return!

Canadian March break 2016

My family of five stayed here over the Canadian March break . My three children are aged 19, 14 and 11. It was perfect for us. The condo was spotlessly clean. Contained everything we needed . I would say 90% of the other tenants were elderly , which meant zero noise in the evenings and night time. I have nothing negative to say about this place and would recommend it to everyone.

Great time!

This condo is VERY QUIET!! Mature renters are very friendly, but respect your privacy. The grounds are well kept, the washer/ dryer (coin) works well. This condo has big, flat chairs and couches which are a little hard to sit on ( no back support/ hard to get out of) . Cable worked great- Bathrooms are very nice, kitchen is adequate, keyless entry is handy . 2 gas grills were very clean. Huge deck between buildings faces west and has tables with umbrellas and is on 2nd floor. Grills are on this deck.Within 2 miles of gas station/ 5 miles to grocery. Mango Mango was our favorite restaurant in St. Aug Beach.

Great Gator Getaway

My wife and two kids stayed at this setting over Thanksgiving and while in the area for the Florida-FSU football game. We had a fantastic time relaxing at the pool and especially on the beach which bordered the property.. This place was delightful and exceeded our expectations. The owner was very generous sharing high points of the area. Waking up to the ocean roar can't be exceeded. Property was clean and everything about the place was very comfortable. Also enjoyed a variety of area restaurants. Will definitely recommend to friends and others and will return again!

What a gem!

Our new favorite! From the moment we entered the condo, we felt so welcomed. Lights on and soft music playing upon our arrival. The keyless entry is wonderful - no more keeping up with a room key at the beach. The decor of the condo is top-notch chic, but still warm and cozy. The condo was the perfect size for our family of 4 and could easily accommodate 6. The king-size bed in the master was great - complete with a beautiful ocean view and pool view. The 2 queen beds in the second room was perfect for our kids, along with the view of the intracoastal. They also enjoyed the wifi in the unit. The balcony, just off the living area downstairs, provided a beautiful ocean and pool view. A great cafe table and love seat are available for watching the sunrise/sunset. The condo comes fully equipped - even a set of beach chairs and beach umbrellas for your use. It is exactly 178 steps from the condo to the sand! Never have we stayed somewhere this close to the beach. The grounds and pool are very well maintained. There are also grills for your use atop a landing pad with both an amazing view of the ocean and the intracoastal. We can't wait to go back next year!

Awesome view and stay!

We are a family of five and when we first stepped into the condo we were impressed. We loved that we could make it feel like home within a day. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. Of course we had to go and buy some more trash bags, toilet paper, and paper towels, but it is an expected expense. The view was one of the best and the beach and pool are literally steps away! I love that we did not have to walk a long boardwalk to get to the beach and the pool is right next to the beach. The condo was tastefully decorated and clean, and for a mom of three my clean expectations for a home are pretty high and it met my expectations all across the board. The condo complex is very calm and quiet, which is great since we live in a big city and it was a great time to relax and enjoy the time with our family. We have never rented a condo from a website but the experience was super fast and easy!
