RIGHT NOW IF YOU BOOK SAT AND SUN AT NORMALY RATE YOU GET LABOR DAY FREE OR IF YOU WANT TO STAY LONGER THAN THE WEEKEND--WE HAVE SOME KILLER DEALS, JUST INQUIRE!

Perhaps the most popular unit on Crescent Beach, with over 95% occupancy for three years running! Book early and book fast to get the BEST view and location on the beach, literally a stone's throw from the waves at high tide! As 1 of only 2 end units in the complex closest to the beach, totally remodeled and completed in 2016—this is a premiere luxury condo you’ll want to rush to get!

Top three reasons this condo has some of the best occupancy rates on all of Crescent Beach:

1. BEST VIEWS:

That’s a bold claim, how can we make it? Well, no condo or home on Crescent Beach is closer to the ocean than this unit! We are an upstairs end unit in the complex closest to the beach, so your views here are unobstructed by tall grassy dunes or long wooden boardwalks blocking the magnificent seascape out your window. Your beach views stretch for miles in both directions. Additionally, only the end units have an extra wall of windows in the living room and master bedroom, bringing those endless beach views right into your unit. It’s not just poetic prose when we say you could forget you’re on land when you sleep at night; come experience laying down on the soft king bed and seeing nothing but ocean waves out your window, feeling the cool breezes, inhaling the salty ocean scents, and hearing only the methodic music of rolling waves out your windows, literally making you feel as though you are on your own personal yacht out at sea. In the morning make sure to get up early because you won’t want to miss a sunrise in this condo and if you don’t want to go out, the sunrise will come to you from the best seat in the house—a chaise lounge surrounded by two walls of windows, or lay in bed and watch your room turn orange from the glow of sunrise. A must-do during your stay is to schedule plenty of time on the chaise watching pelicans dive into the ocean, turtles poke their heads out of the sand dunes, dolphins jump in the waves, and boats lazily sailing by! In fact, some of your best pictures of the beach will be taken from the comfort of this soft chaise lounge and nobody will know you weren’t standing on the sand!

2. CLOSEST TO THE BEACH:

Local restrictions mandated condos built after our complexes to build a certain distance away from the sand dunes. Thus, in other rentals what separates you from the very reason you’re renting here (the ocean), is a long boardwalk. Our “boardwalk” is five steps off the pool deck! If you’re coming for the beach, there is no better complex to stay in to put you footsteps away from your true destination. Additionally because our unit is on the end, we are the closest unit to the beach, hands down; in fact, you’re so close, that at high tide you could throw a rock out the window and hit waves!

3. BEAUTIFUL BEACHY CHIC COTTAGE RETREAT:

The design of this condo was summoned by the seascape and ocean hues out your window bringing indoors the calming color palette of the beach. Beautiful detail work and accessories throughout force this unit to stand out, but not steal the real show happening out your expansive windows. In addition you will find everything you need to enjoy the indoors including a big screen TV w/ high definition cable service & DVR (so you can record your favorite shows and still make the best show-- watching the moon rise out of the ocean), DVD player, TV in the master suite and second bedroom and free private WIFI. All the comforts of home will tempt you to stay indoors in this beautifully designed and comfortably decorated condo, but we know, the ocean call is too loud to ignore.

Recent renovations include:

-New tile flooring that looks like hardwood laid in herringbone pattern
-Completely remodeled kitchen with custom made cabinets, including custom paneled refrigerator, galley kitchen style so you have more room for prep, new appliances, stunning quartz countertops that mirrors the look of the sand outside, and high-end glass tile backsplash
-Main floor bathroom totally renovated with new vanity and gorgeous tile shower with glass tile accents
-Brand new contemporary master bedroom set with large drawers under king bed for storage
-Brand new sitting chair in master bedroom and big screen HDTV mounted on wall
-New comforters in master bedroom and second bedroom

Could you ask for a better three reasons to book this unit today? Perhaps you need an invitation….

We invite you to…

Bathe in breathtaking sunrises and sunsets from the comfort of your living room,
Travel only a few steps so you can walk for miles scavenging seashells on a pristine beach, and
Forget you’re on land as you’re lulled to sleep by waves crashing mere feet from your bedroom window.

We invite you to…

Imagine the days of Ponce de Leon as you discover the charming city of nearby St. Augustine,
Break away from tourist attractions and explore the way old Florida used to be, and
Taste the best the south has to offer from smoky barbeque to melt in your mouth gourmet and everything delicious in between.

We invite sun seekers, adventure cravers, and those who have a love affair with the ocean. Whether it be for escape or adventure, or a little of both, we invite you to stay in our beachy chic condo as a base for tranquility and exploration of Crescent Beach on Anastasia Island and the hundreds of attractions nearby.

WHY COQUINA COMPLEX IS UNBEATABLE:

LESS THAN A MINUTE FROM UNIT TO BEACH:

  • We are one of only two complexes on this beach that are RIGHT ON THE BEACH-- just seven steps off the pool deck at the center of our complex to sand.

  • We built before restrictions forced everyone else to build behind the sand dunes. Thus all other complexes besides our sister property have long stretches of dunes and hard wooden boardwalks over those dunes—our “boardwalk” is made of sand.

  • We're less than 60 seconds from your door to beach, making your trek with beach gear an easy and fast one!

BEST VIEWS:

  • Being steps from the beach also means we have the best views on the beach!

  • Our unbeatable proximity to sand and water, combined with the fact that our complex is shaped like a V so that nobody blocks anyone else’s view, means our views are unrivaled by other complexes!

  • Don’t be fooled by some people’s claims to “beachfront” or to have a great  “ocean view”— our view is not a corner of the room—or hanging over a balcony to get a glimpse of water— every unit in the Coquina has panoramic views of the beach!

  • In addition bringing the sounds of the sea indoors is as easy as opening your windows or doors to hear the waves roll outside.

LESS CROWDS AT OUR COMPLEX:

  • Unlike some complexes that have hundreds of units- this complex has only 42 units, with about half of those units available to rent and the other half being people's private vacation homes that often sit vacant.  As such, you won't see hundreds of guests from this complex taking up the beach space by the condo or crowding the pool and courts.

  • We also don't rent to groups of young adults (guests under 25 years of age), thus we often have a more quiet feel than other complexes.

  • Lastly, more often than not our rentals are by the week or month, we are not like a hotel that has a new group coming to party each night.

LESS CROWDS AT OUR BEACH:

  • Combined with the fact above that our complex is small with less guests using the beach, our beach often stays slow even in busy times (if you want to feel like you own the beach, ask me when the best time to come is) for a couple of other reasons….

  • Crescent Beach is not a commercial type of beach like St. Augustine beach we only have a couple of restaurants on the north end of the beach a mile away from us, thus we don’t get crowds coming to eat and then walk on our beach, likewise we do not have stores on our small stretch of beach—though there are plenty of stores just a couple miles north of us.

  • Additionally, we have no hotels on Crescent Beach— so we don’t get nightly guest crowds and partiers coming to our beach.

  • Lastly, to the north of our complex is a private vacation home (often sitting vacant), to the south of us is our sister complex similar in size to us, thus we aren’t surrounded by complexes with hundreds of guests that fan out onto our side of the beach.

  • Even in our high season our guests comment at how slow and peaceful everything is here.

POOL AREA: We are one of the only complexes on Crescent Beach that has our pool just steps from the sand!  Why is this a big deal?  When you lay out on our loungers at the pool deck, you feel like you’re out at the beach— the waves are rolling just over your shoulders, the pelicans are soaring overhead and you can fall asleep to the ocean’s melody.  At other complexes you are surrounded by buildings and guests— here you’re surrounded by palm trees and ocean views.  No need to get sandy on the beach, be a sun worshiper from the comfort of the pool deck but still feel like you’re out at the beach!  In addition, a separate kiddie pool with one shallow depth makes for a great place for the little ones to swim without having to dive in after a child that goes too deep.

AMENITIES: Enjoy a game of tennis on our private tennis courts enclosed by thick lush foliage.  Shoot some hoops at the basketball court.  Enjoy grilling dinner on our electric grills located on the upper deck with ocean views on one side and Intracoastal waterway views on the other (grills, loungers, tables, umbrellas, and chairs are provided).  Don’t miss a chance to take in the fiery colors over the Intracoastal as the sun sinks into the water at sunset, then look over your shoulder to simultaneously watch the beach turn to a palette of pastel pinks and blues— there is no better seat on all of Crescent Beach to enjoy the sunset than on the upper deck of the Coquina with panoramic water views on each side of you!

ABOUT CRESCENT BEACH AND SURROUNDING AREA:

This condo is nestled on one of the best kept secrets in the world-- Crescent Beach found on Anastasia Island, located just 15-20 minutes from the quaint historic city of St. Augustine. Crescent Beach has been named one of the most “scenic and unspoiled beaches in Florida.”  With soft white sand to play in, shells of all sizes that come in from the waves to find, and a shallow flat coastline to play in the waves, whether you build castles, beach comb, or play in the waves— the beach will keep you busy for hours.

If you decide to leave the beach you can do so to discover over 500 restaurants, more per capita of residents than anywhere else on the east coast, you literally could not try all of St. Augustine’s restaurants in a year’s time, but we welcome you to try.  Whether you come to enjoy one of the many golf courses nearby (including TPC Sawgrass), want to try your hand at fishing on piers, from the beach, or from a boat, have an interest in the area’s many museums or love the historic area’s architecture and brick pedestrian-only streets, or prefer the shopping and foodie scene, St. Augustine is a gem that more than one guest has asked us not to share with anyone else!

If you don’t want to venture to the downtown area, the island we are situated on (Anastasia Island, which is considered part of St. Augustine proper), has enough restaurants, grocery stores, surf shops, and activities (such as Marineland where you can swim with dolphins, the Alligator Zoo where you can zip line over alligator enclosures, the famous St. Augustine lighthouse, or a multitude of recreational activities like kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, boating, etc.) to keep you busy. However, we find, more often than not, it is the lonely beckon call of the beach out your door that has you rebooking. Described by the locals as “the way old Florida used to be,” Crescent Beach still remains slow, quiet, and peaceful like Florida beaches once were. With soft white sand to dig your feet in, shells scattered along the water’s edge to find, sea grass waving in the ocean breeze, turtles lazily digging in the dunes, pelicans surfing the skies, and dolphins playing along the shoreline’s waves, it is this quintessential beach life that fills our souls with longing and brings us back time and time again!

In terms of specific activities (other than everything the beach in your backyard provides), there is something for every single age and interest within 5-25 minutes away from the condo including:

HISTORY: Tons of history and spectacular architecture!  We are just 15-20 minutes away from the oldest city in the nation where you will find museums, replicas of old St. Augustine where people are dressed in character and give you a guide through American history, or closer to home you can visit Fort Matanzas by boat just 5 minutes from the condo and hear the old cannons go off.

RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES: There are recreational activities in almost every single genre: fishing (from a platoon boat on the Intracoastal, by deep sea fishing boat on the Atlantic, or try fishing off the bridges and piers or from the shore in your backyard), boating, parasailing, kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, renting mopeds or scoot coupes, etc.

GOLFING: There are at least five golf courses nearby ranging from the community golf course to the world famous TPC Sawgrass at the World Golf Village.

ANIMAL LOVER ACTIVITIES: There are unique activities for animal lovers: training and swimming with dolphins just five minutes from the condo at Marineland, ziplining over hundreds of alligators ten minutes away at the Alligator Farm, or visiting a privately held wild animal zoo where you can see lions hug their trainers and tigers take bubble baths just 20 minutes away.  Just out your door you will find lizards darting in your path, turtles burrowing in the dunes out your window, dolphins jumping in the shoreline, cranes and pelicans fishing for breakfast, along with plenty of animal life that washes ashore including: jellyfish, starfish, coral, crabs, we've even seen small sharks washed ashore after a big storm (I've never seen sharks swimming in the waves in the 18 years I've been here).

SHOPPING GALORE: You can spend a lot of time and even more money at two huge outlet malls just across the road from one another 20 minutes away or spend your money on local wares and gifts for people at home on the pedestrian only brick street of St. George street downtown 15-20 minutes away.  Near the condo within 5-10 minutes you have plenty of shopping at surf shops, seashell shacks, and grocery shopping at stores like Walgreens, Publix, Wynn Dixie, Family Dollar, etc.

TOURISTY STORES: Downtown historic area has all of your traditional tourist activities including a multitude of fun ways to tour the city (think chocolate and dining tours, or tours by trolley and horse carriage).  The lighthouse is an easy climb and a great way to get a panoramic view of the city and to learn about lighthouses.

MANAGER INFO:

My name is Marisa, and I am the manager that will work with you personally on your stay.  For almost two decades I have been coming to this complex as my own island retreat paradise and discovering new restaurants, taking new adventures, engaging in new experiences, and seeing the island through both tourists' and locals' eyes! I haven't come close to running out of things yet, and would love to help you plan your trip by giving you the local tips on where to eat and what to do to soak up everything this corner of the world has to offer. So come, accept our invitation, come to what will feel like home and make you never want to leave.

Great view, wonderful stay, highly recommend

Having traveled extensively throughout the US, this VRBO condo is one of the best. You simply can't beat the views at this Coquina unit. We enjoyed the proximity to activities in St. Augustine and south to Flagler Beach. Marisa is a great manager and the local travel guide book was an awesome added bonus. Coquina is a family friendly, quiet complex with ample parking. The condo had plenty of room and the updated flooring and tasteful decor were much appreciated. This condo is highly recommended. I can now see why it is so rare to have an open week at this beachfront gem. Thank you!!! We hope to stay again in the future.

WOW!!!!

The pictures do not do it justice. Everything is there for you to use, the kitchen is loaded. The VIEW, you can see 2 miles either way down the beach. you are only 20 minutes St. Augestine, and is an easy drive. Many restraunts within 2-5 minutes. My favorite, the "Beachcomber." Right on the beach. Get there early or you will stand in line.

Consistently Great

This is my family's 4th stay here and it remains the best beach experience ever. We just love it here. The condo is modern and comfortable, the views are great, access to the beach is a breeze and Marissa is always easy to work with. We'll be back this fall!

Not your average condo rental

If you are a neat freak like we are, this condominium is for you. It has the best view of the ocean of all rentals we have stayed in. We love to sit on the balcony and watch the waves and ooh and aah as the dolphins swim by. Great place for your vacation stay! Manager of unit is the best ever to work with. Any issue that might arise is quickly resolved to your satisfaction.

Best place to stay in St.Augustine

We highly recommend this place to stay. This is the best condominium out of all the other fine units to stay in at Coquina. Coquina is also by far the best complex for access to Cresent Beach. This was our third year in a row and second in this unit. We will most definitely be coming back for years to come.

Superlative all around!

We have rented myriad places around the world. The condo & its owners, manager excell in our view. We almost want to keep it a secret as we plan to return. Quality furnishings and design, excellent kitchen amenities, extra linens, beach equipment; absolute cleanliness; prompt & efficient response to rental inquiry, deposit acknowledgements & return and to troubleshooting when key lock stopped functioning. Superior beach location in well maintained area close to St Augustine where you don't 'feel' like you are in a tourist trap. Low key.relaxation & great long walks on a beach that goes on forever.

Feels like a delightful cottage at the beach!

We have stayed in many places in Florida on purpose, as we wanted to experience different areas. This was but far my favorite place we've ever stayed. From the music, the decor, the view, the beach, the restaurants, nothing disappointed. I look forward to returning to this wonderful destination.

Everything We Had Hoped For and More!

We were looking for a quiet, relaxing get away and we could not have made a better choice. The condo seemed to welcome us in when we arrived and it's beautiful decor, amazing views and exceptional attention to detail continued to bless us every day. It was hard to chose between staying to enjoy the beauty of this unit or finding our way to the beach for a walk for relaxing bike ride. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. You are on our "Let's Go Back" list!

Wonderful place to relax & enjoy the ocean

The condo is wonderful! Very comfortable, wonderfully appointed, and the closeness to the ocean and all the windows just enhances the entire experience. The bathrooms are a bit small but worked just fine for the two of us. We just loved listening to the ocean day & night, walk right out to the beach for shelling & wonderful walks, and the sunrise is just lovely. Would highly recommend this home-away-from-home!
